Before you share your story..
let me tell you mine..
My name is Nichole. I’m 37 years old, a self-taught photographer, plant hoarder, addicted to buying second-hand and love taking in all the animals.
My husband and I have 4 dogs (3 rescues), a resuced mini horse named Pickles, and the Dirty Bird Crew (turkeys, chickens and ducks).
I was THAT person in high school that always had a camera. There's photos of me when I was just a few years old, where i'm running around with camera. Photography was always in me.
While in high school, my mom purchased a Nikon SLR. I used it for 4-H projects and swept all pf our country photography categories with portraits of my friends senior photos. Fast forward to 2012. Life got in the way but I was finding my way back to photography. I found a Nikon D3500 and 2 lens on craigslist for $600 and that's when this began.
I hit the ground running and drug my camera everywhere. I also drug my friends everywhere to photograph them. My sharing photos on social media, I slowly gained interested and bookings. I'll never forgot my first wedding inquiry that was from a complete stranger.
Now, in 2024, I have photographed hundreds, if not thousands, of people. Some have become friends, many have been clients for years. Building relationships and connecting with people is just as much of a passion as telling people's stories.
